  I grew up in the area, and after I left for college I always hated the food options in Sturgis. Kang San is a bright spot in a town full of fast food chains. Their flavors are authentic enough to remind me of NYC's Chinatown (though it should be noted this is KOREAN not Chinese). I love the veggie stir fry and the bokkeum, both of which are full of delicious veggies. This is a great place if you're looking for an alternative to deep fried convenience food.

  My mom and I got the grand canyon, caterpillar, and the volcano baked roll and they are all delicious! The caterpillar would have to be my favorite and I agree that a little music would tie all the restaurant together.

  Go next door to BK or DQ, have a burger, puke up that trash and you'll appreciate this. Loses a star for NOT accepting any debit card I have, bring CASH with you because he's on el-cheapo-bank-network. Lucky find, no other options in the area. Get the $7.50 beef or chicken teriyaki lunch for supper, was more than enough for me... a 55 yr. old male! The full dinner is ~12" by ~5" deep and that's too much. She brings a slice of watermelon for dessert, nice touch! Leave a tip, that tiny little woman does more in a day running around than most do in a week. She's like an old news reels at 78 speed, pretty entertaining. The husband is the chef and he's into his 'craft' more than collecting the check. GO HERE, I have had it with corporate, processed filth and this breaks that trend.
